Foundation Piling Ltd has a comprehensive fleet of Piling equipment capable of executing a complete range of Piling techniques on Highways work.
This capability is augmented by specialist machinery specifically designed for construction of piles during lane closures as are frequently required during construction of signal and gantry foundations and bridge reinforcement works adjacent to live carriageways.
Lorry Mounted Rotary Bored Piling
We operate a Soilmec STM 20 mounted on a Volvo FMX610 6 by 4 chassis which is fully compliant with the Euro Tier 6 emissions standard.
This rig is ideally suited to construction of piles for highways signalling and gantry upgrade foundation works which are normally carried out in lane closures adjacent to the live carriageway.
- Maximum pile depth 30 metres
- Maximum pile diameter 1100
- Low headroom Rotary Bored Piling
We operate a specialist compact Tescar CF3 SC rotary piling rig mounted on a crawler base.
This compact and powerful machine has the capacity to construct Bored piles up to 750mm diameter in a minimum headroom of 4600 mm to a depth of 25 metres. The machine has rubber tracks which allows work to be carried out with nominal protection to the highway surface and the small footprint of the machine makes it ideally suited to bridge reinforcement works carried out in lane closures and other restricted access works.
