The Llamada P240, weighs 120t with augers, and is currently the largest CFA piling rig in the UK.

It is capable of drilling CFA piles up to a diameter of 1.2m and to a depth of 41m, with a working radius of 250 degrees. It is also equipped with a percussive rotary head to help progress piles through varying ground conditions, reducing the need to mobilise other rigs for coring duties.

This rig is also capable of installing cased CFA piles. Powered by a Volvo Tier V emissions engine, it is optimised to run at maximum efficiency, at all times through the various work cycles. It is also fitted with the latest NDT Technologies pile monitoring system.
